Wooly Bullies - a Mockumentary

I love to knit. I recently picked it up again after a decade hiatus, and it has become my own personal crack. It's rare a day goes by that I don't have some sort of yarn in my fingers. I gaze at online fiber shops and forums, and my husband calls it Yarn Porn. I have also been teaching myself how to crochet, to become a more well-rounded fiber artist. While I had my doubts about it at first, I am growing to love the hook as much as the pointy sticks.

That's right. I am bi-stitchual. And proud of it!

Knitting and crochet are sources of much joy and many smiles in my life, but they don't usually make me LOL. At least not on a regular basis. But I saw the following, and boy, did I LOL! I almost ROFL'd. If you knit or crochet, or know someone who does, you may enjoy this, too.

Movie LOLs

Idiocracy is a severely underrated movie. Okay, yeah, it's childish and somewhat poorly executed, but the ideas behind it are sheer genius. I can honestly say it's one of my favorite bad movies. And often, I feel like I'm living it...

The scene below is one of my favorites of any movie, ever. If you want me to bust out in an embarrassing snort of laughter, all you have to do is whisper "electrolytes" to me. I swear.

OMG! I could really use an LOL right now...

Came home yesterday to find that someone had broken into my house. Luckily, the person or persons responsible were long gone. Husband, cat and I are all okay. I just want to say we appreciate the local police department's professionalism and care in this whole mess. We're working on the clean-up and inventory stage now, but could use a diversion.
